Monthly Troop Committee meeting. Parents always welcome to attend.
Join the Troop at our annual year-end picnic to celebrate another great Scout year and all of our Scouts’ accomplishments at the Spring Court of Honor that follows.
Advancement and recognition in the Boy Scouts of America is a tradition dating from the inception of the Scouting movement. A fundamental purpose of advancement is the self-confidence a young man acquires from his participation in Scouting. Advancement is one of the methods used in the “Aims of Scouting”—character development, citizenship training and personal fitness. Once a Scout has completed all requirements and earned a rank, the Troop recognizes the accomplishment with a Court of Honor. Courts of Honor are held three times a year and serve as a way to recognize Scouts for successful achievement with family and friends in attendance.
